Butterflies: The Bees of the Rainforest

Like Bees in America, Butterflies in Costa Rica are important indicators of climate change. Environmental Journalism student Jenn Finch says their role is becoming increasingly important as rainforests are being cleared and turned into farmland. She went on a field trip with ecology students from the University of Georgia who are studying how such clearings affect not only the land that has been cleared, but the surrounding forest as well.
