India’s Air Pollution Problem

In the bustling capital of India, the air pollution in New Delhi is worse than in Beijing as a black cloud over the city. While this air pollution is a sign of industrialization and economic growth, the pollution itself  is starting to harm the health of New Delhi citizens. When President Obama came to visit India for a few days, it was expected that his life would be shortened by 6 hours from breathing the polluted air for a few days.

This talk about air pollution and health effects is starting the conversation about climate change and the truth that implementing environmentally friendly practices into legislation and into the economy is more beneficial to humans than for the environment itself.
